Up until yesterday night at about 7 o'clock ish, my current motto in life was...
"The more I see of mankind, the more I like my dog."
So there I was, doing what I do best, sitting in the living room on my couch with my friend, Mike. All the windows in the apartment were opened. And all of a sudden we hear a man shout, "hello? people on the 2nd floor?"
I know, WTF, right? I was confused and a little skeptical. I really had no idea what I was expecting to happen next. Being the paranoid freak that I am, I was picturing a sniper or something. Unsure why I was tiptoeing, I finally made it over to the window to peek.
There were two men outside of our building. Not just two men. But two very, kind, thoughtful, honest, geniune, loyal, nice men.
They found the guy's wallet who lives downstairs and across the hall from me. They found it at Liberty Park and being the kind, thoughtful, honest, geniune, loyal and nice men they are, they looked at the address on his driver's license and brought it to him. He wasn't home so I took the wallet and gave it to him when I heard him come home.
So I guess some good and honest people do live in the world.
