typing is my favorite way to let my nails dry.

I don't know why but I always blog after I paint my nails. Probably because typing helps them dry and if I try doing anything else (VERY CAREFULLY) I will always smudge my newly painted nails. I suck.

SO GUESS WHAT!

Let it be known......

That this weekend........

I learned how to drive a stick shift! Yup. I can now officially drive a stick shift. I kind of knew how before, but now I have it down and am pro. Steve taught me and was a swell teacher. But if you ask him about the experience, he will tell you that I killed the engine four times in a row in the MIDDLE of an intersection. I almost went in panic mode, but he told me to stay calm.

Lou and I are starting to be buds. When I let him out for his daily play hour(s), he is starting to follow me around and boop me. Getting booped by a bunny is just an experience you can't beat. If only I was lucky enough to have caught it on camera. Here are some of my favorite internet boops:

a note from the universe.

Have you heard of the thing where you get notes from the universe? Well if not... here is what you do.

1. Open the internet machine.
2. Type in: www.tut.com
3. Then click on 'FREE SIGN UP'
4. Then fill out all the needed info and stuff.

Basically what it is, is you get an email sent to you every day of something that is inspirational or useful. I'm not talking like "BE YOURSELF, NO ONE ELSE WILL!" Not that crap. When you sing up they ask you 2 personal questions/goals and depending on those answers, that will determine what kind of inspiration they will send you. It's pretty neat.

So today, this is the one that was sent to me: (if I was more tech savvy I would take a screen shot, but that just ain't gonna happen)

I think you already feel it, Kaleena, but a really HUGE wave of LOVE is coming your way.

Once in a lifetime HUGE.

Hang ten,
    The Universe.

My first response was:

 But then I was like:

the internet rules.

Guess what? My neighborhood is cooler than yours. And this is how I know:

You can't really tell, but that is a photo I took of a movie being filmed. Yes. Just right around the corner of our apartment. Don't get too excited though because I have no idea what movie it is. The only person I recognized is Angela Kinsey from the Office, so that is a dead giveaway that movie won't be great. At all.

IN OTHER NEWS:
Anyone who uses the internet as much as I do or listens to the news has heard of SOPA/PIPA by now. For those of you who haven't heard, it's basically the government trying to make the internet less awesome and more censored. January 18th will forever be the day that I was most productive at work... only because my favorite websites (Reddit, Wikipedia) were blacked out due to protest. I signed two different petitions to stop the SOPA/PIPA bills from being passed. I got an email today that said this:

"A big hurrah to you!!!!! We’ve won for now -- SOPA and PIPA were dropped by Congress today -- the votes we’ve been scrambling to mobilize against have been cancelled.

The largest online protest in history has fundamentally changed the game.  You were heard."

So YAY! I was apart of history because I participated in the largest online protest. Can I get a big raise the roof?

sundays are cool.

I like to think that If I was a day of week, I would be a Sunday. Because Sundays are cool. But I would mostly likely be a Monday... because Mondays have every potential to be cool... but they end up being annoying and too much to handle.

Here is a glimpse of my Sunday:
-Woke up.
-Laid in bed wondering if I was going to fall back asleep.
-Did not fall back asleep.
-Walked out to the living room.
-Five minutes later of staring, the little messes are still there. And I decide I have to go to the grocery store. I consider grocery shopping a hobby because I love it so much. But grocery shopping on a Sunday morning? AMAZING. It's my favorite.
-Come home and eat and eat and eat and eat.
-Go to Amazon.com to buy Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, swallow disappointment when I see Amazon knows of no such book.
-Browse internet.
-Browse internet.
-Browse internet.
-Browse internet.
-Shower.
-Decide I need a haircut. Tuesday will be a great day for this.
-Decide to take nap. Nap taking takes place.
-Wake up, feel need to update blog on how much of nothing took place today but for some reason I still love days like today.
