a weekend only an introvert would love.

This weekend I was in bed by ten each night. (but this meant, I woke up at 4am - 5am).

This weekend I baked red velvet cupcakes. That means I ate more of the batter leaving little for baking into cupcakes.

This weekend I felt so tired and burnt out, all I wanted was to just stay home.

This week:

1. I am going to the city library. I was there on Saturday to get my new library card since mine somehow keeps getting stolen. I noticed it was a prime place for people watching.
2. I want to get to work at 8am instead of 9am. Just cause.
3. I want crab legs for dinner.
4. I'm going to resist getting on Facebook. It has been making me berserk every time I check it. People are idiots.

And dude. I'm no beauty blogger (in fact, I don't really know what kind of blogger I am) but this new mascara is my hero. I usually have to change to a new mascara every two or three months cause it just doesn't do the trick anymore. But this one is the best mascara I've ever used in my makeup wearing career. It is Revlon 3D Volume Mascara.

the cons of winter.

Winter is my second favorite season. I like the Winter because:

  • The snow.
  • I look better bundled up in winter clothes than I do in summer clothes. Take my word for it.
  • I think winter clothes in general are cuter. Like scarves, hats, boots, sweaters, etc.
  • I don't like Summer heat.
  • The holidays.
  • Being a hermit is more fun in the cold.
  • I just do.
However, there are two very huge things that are really worse than death that cannot be avoided in the Winter. And they are:

My jeans getting wet at the bottoms.
The days when I don't wear boots and the snow/sleet get the bottom of my jeans wet. My days and life feel so miserable when this happens. It leads me to start complaining about everything. Also, as I was Googling that picture, I found out that there is an actual Facebook fan page dedicated to hating when the bottom of your jeans get wet. I'm not alone!

Scraping the snow and ice off my car.
Does this count as a chore? If it does, this is 100% my most hated chore. Life would be complete if I would never have to do this again.

me being a hermit.

I spent the last two days being a hermit in the apartment. I only left it once and it was to go to the store to get some goodies for lunch and dinner.

It has been the best two days of my life. I am a massive homebody and I am professional at being a hermit. I don't know when I started to be alarmingly antisocial, but I really don't care anymore.

I've spent these two days without any make up on, in a huge sweatshirt and on the couch watching Harold and Kumar
I wish everyday could be like this... but it probably would eventually make me go crazy.
Maybe someday I will break out of my comfort zone... but probably not.

Oh, and my new favorite thing to eat is a toasted wheat bread with a thin layer of chunky peanut butter on it. OOOOO! AAAHHHH! MMMMM!
