R.I.P. 2011 (2011 - 2011)

Last night... the Christmas tree got tipped over.

Last night... I had to watch Justin Bieber perform Let it Be by the Beatles on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve. I thought everyone knew that was something you just don't do...

Last night... I counted SIXTEEN cars that were pulled over on the freeway, probably for DUI's, when I soberly drove my friend Brian home.

Last night... I listened to Let's Twist Again by Chubby Checker and decided it's my new freedom song.

Last night... I said a lot of weird words and bizarre sentences right at midnight so I could be the first person of the year to say them!

Last night... was a blast and a half.

Cheers to 2012 and to this being my first post of 2012!

YAY!

it's december.... the last month of 2011.... when did that happen.

You will forever be remembered as the year that I officially hate.

You will forever be remembered as the year that almost took away my optimism forever.

You will forever be remembered as the year that when something great happened to me, a bajillion of not great things happened right after.

You will forever be remembered as the year I had to get rid of my first car due to a transmission that was giving out even though I knew it didn't want to. :(

You will forever be remembered as the year that more awful things happened than good.
You will forever be remembered as the year that left me unimpressed.

And on a silly note...

You will forever be remembered as the year that came after 2010 and before 2012.

Ha.

finally.

It's finally September and I am basically thrilled.

Mostly because I just feel some strong hostility towards August.

But still.

September is probably my second favorite month after December.

After some long contemplating and pondering, I've come to the decision that I really hate 2011. I can't wait for it to be over.

things that make a weekend great.

A lot of firsts-for-2011 happened this weekend. 

I had my first bowl of strawberry cheesecake Dippin' Dots.

and

I got my first sunburn/tan line on my feet.

A great weekend indeed.
