zZzZzZzzzzzZZZZzzz.

I don't know why but all I know is I am really tired these days. It's not that sleepy feeling where you feel like you need a quick nap, but it's the feeling where your whole entire body feels exhausted and you have to drag yourself around. I think I need to eat more vegetables.  Usually, I stay up until 2-3AM (even on weekdays because I'm stupid and can't grasp this is never a good idea) but lately, I'm in bed by 11PM.

And it feels great.

I love being in a warm bed just to sleep and lay and be comfortable. I think I have successfully moved from being a "home body" to a "bed body" ... my social status is only getting worse from here. I should probably care.

Oh and I don't have work tomorrow. I LOVE PRESIDENTS!

professional sleeper.

I take my sleeping pretty seriously because it's one of my favorite things to do.
And on a Saturday or Sunday morning, I like to wake up (kind of early so that means 8 or 9)
eat a bowl of cereal and go back to bed.
Because going back to bed after eating breakfast provides a sleep
that feels like no other sleep
and it's the best.

truth.

Today I had a tough time getting out of bed. By the time my alarm went off I knew I was not ready to take on the day. I set the sound of my alarm to a rooster... probably the worst decision I've made this week. Waking up to an alarm is alerady the worst... but waking up to a fake URR-URURRRR is even worse. Sorry my rooster impression is so terrible. I felt waaayyyy too lazy to even think about the task of dressing myself. After laying there for ten minutes, I decided I had to get up and not be so lazy and tired. It is now 3:00pm and I'm still wishing I was home in bed. It's just one of those days where nothing comes close to the appeal of a nice, soft, comfy bed.

Now here are some really great and true quotes... all by Jonathan Safran Foer.

“The only thing more painful than being an active forgetter is to be an inert rememberer.”

"I am doing something I hate for you. This is what it means to be in love.”

“The only way to overcome sadness is to consume it. ”

“I was of the opinion that the past is past, and like all that is not now it should remain buried along the side of our memories.”

Can we please talk about how brillian Jonathan Safran Foer is? Ugh. Probably my #2 favorite autor. Chuck Palahniuk is obviously my #1. Forever. Also, it took me forever to remember how to spell his last name correctly without looking it up.

So, since I'm entirely obsessed with the thought of my bed today.. I am going to go home, get in my bed and start reading Everything is Illuminated. Which is by Jonathan Safran Foer. Woo.

ZzZzZz.

Hey, did you know why "zzz" symbolizes sleeping? I don't know the exact reason... all I know is that it has something to do with the Greek language and meaning sleep or snoring or something. Sorry I got your hopes up with telling you a useful fact and then completely letting you down.

Anyway. Sleep. Sleep is something I can't do right anymore. It takes me hours and hours and hours and then some minutes and more minutes to fall asleep. Then, I finally fall asleep and then wake up a rough twelve minutes later thinking a whole night as passed. SUCCESS! I look at the clock and realize it was only twelve minutes.UNSUCCESS. (shhh, unsuccess isn't a real word) Classic case of the "UGH!"

Thanks to Golden Girls, I watch an unhealthy amount of the Hallmark Chanel. There is this movie they keep advertising called "Undercover Bridesmaid" I can't express into words how excited I am for that movie to finally air... only so I don't have to see the commercial anymore! Now that I think about, I want that commercial to stop more than I want a full night of sleep. Truth.

HUGS.

pooped.

Right now I am going to talk about how incredibly tired I am these days....

These days, I am pretty incredibly tired.

There. I am done talking about how tired I am.

Anyway. It has been raining all week and it's so nice. Even if it's not raining, I like the overcast.

Taxes were due yesterday. Want to know how I know that? Because yesterday I was thinking about how I still need to do my taxes before it's too late and then a simple Google search revealed they were due on April 17th. So I did them. Classic Kaleena - waiting til the last minute to do anything.

The other night when I was laying in bed, I was thinking about quotes. I really love quotes. I read them all the time on the internet or write them down when I'm reading a book. So I was thinking I want to come up with a quote(s) that has the potential to be quoted or sited 30 years from now and would give people goosebumps. And let me tell you, I was coming up with some good ones... I was minutes away from sleep but it seemed like the closer I was to sleep, the better they were sounding. I had the thought "crap, I should write these down... nah, I will surely remember them." ...Can I please tell you that every time in my life when I say "I don't need to write this down, I will remember." I never remember and wish I wrote it down? So now I have no idea what those life-changing quotes were that I made up and probably never will know. All I know is one had to do with a puzzle and me being a puzzle piece. It was deep.

I got a new computer at work today and that means I went from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I feel pretty fancy and like I'm really in 2012.

This post went here, there and everywhere.

i'm way too paranoid to handle friday the 13th.

I somehow knew today was Friday the 13th before I looked at the calendar and saw it actually was Friday the 13th. And here is why.

I have three alarms set. Mainly because I love setting them earlier than I have to wake up just so I can feel the lovely feeling of falling back to sleep... and because I'm paranoid I won't hear them and I will sleep through work.

Well low and behold, I slept through my alarms and woke up TWO hours late. This meant I wasn't able to shower and take time to pick out a decent outfit. I hit every red light on the way to work. I couldn't find a parking spot so I had to park far, far away.

Those are all the ingredients to knowing it is Friday the 13th. The only thing left to probably happen is a shark attack so good thing I don't leave near an ocean.

Here is a little conversation exchange that just happened between my sister Shandey and I via Googletalk:

Me: Hunger Games is boring so far.
Shandey: What chapter are you on?
Me: 2.
Shandey: Just keep reading, it gets better. I think the next chapter is when she is called to the hunger games.
Me: Speaking of which, my stomach is growling. I'm experiencing some hunger games of my own.
Shandey: Oh brother.
