silly things.

Today my brakes went out. Ha. And yes, It was just as frightening as it sounds! It gave me flashbacks to one day when I was sledding down a big snowy hill with my two friends and a little girl ran in our path but we were completely helpless to stop the sled and we crashed into her and knocked her beanie hat off. But all is well. My very nice uncle helped me out and my brakes are brand new! I feel like I'm driving a brand new car. It's delicious.

I just got done switching to a new/old purse. Reusing an old purse is like going through a time capsule. I find so many old treasures in there, especially because I keep a ton of stuff in my purses. Old movie tickets, old favorite lip glosses, old "lost" jewelery, old shoes (ha, jk) etc.

Are you in the mood for a good ol LOL? Did you come here hoping to giggle at least once? No? Well, in case all that talk about LOLoing and giggling got you in the mood to LOL and giggle, look at this:

some of the worst things ever.

Here is a little list I made of the things that I think are the worsts things ever. Reader, if I know you (and i'm pretty sure I do) you will agree with most.

1. When you mean to buy normal mascara and you get home to see you bought WATERPROOF.
2. When you are out of conditioner and you keep meaning to go get some and when you finally do... you get home and realize you really are an idiot and see you bought shampoo.
3. When you see a ran over bunny on the road... and realize it's the same bunny you've seen every day for the last two weeks. :( R.I.P. Cute Bunny.
4. Being hungry.
5. Being awkward.
6. September 11th. I watched so many documentaries yesterday on September 11th and my heart is still broken.
7. #6 brings me to #7. Terrorists.
8. Grumpy people.
9. When you remember that you will never see the Doors perform live.
10. The fact that it is 2012 and some people still aren't treated equally.
11. When your debit card falls out of your back pocket and lands in the toilet.

Some things that aren't the worst things ever:

1. When you run out of shampoo and conditioner at the same time!
2. When you order something from Amazon and it comes in the mail.
3. Sugar free RedBull.

me and the cat that was sitting by my apartment.

I always knew that talking to a cat in public couldn't end well.... and yesterday I proved this point to be true.

So there I was. Walking to the front door of our building from the back ally. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something sitting and I thought it was a bag or something but it was a cat.

I'm not a cat person (but it depends) but this cat was adorable. It looked like it could be funny too. It was light gray with dark gray stripes and bright green eyes. So I stopped and said in the voices that people talk to animals in, "Hi kitty cat. What are you doing?" and the cat just looked back at me like it was interested. So I said, "Where did you come from kitty cat? Just wanting to sit under some shade?"

[ oh my gosh, this story is making me sound insane ]

The cat just kept staring back at me. So I felt like I should keep saying stuff to it. So I said "You are cute lil kitty cat! ..." just as I was going to finish the sentence, it did a very peculiar blink that looked like it was above the conversation we were having and it looked away as if to say "okay, you are boring me. NEXT."

That's when I said, "Oh, i'm sorry cat, am I boring you?" in a really sassy, Jerry Springer type tone. Just then, I noticed some people were standing not too far away from me.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, yeah. I'm THAT girl now. The girl that was talking to a cat.

hey hey heeyyyy.

Do you every annoy the absolute crap out of yourself? There are some days when I am so crazy and hyper and full of energy and I'm all by myself (this usually happens in the car or when I'm home alone) and I start to annoy myself. I've been doing that a lot this week.

I was driving home from work on Monday... I was full of energy, crazy-hyper and stuck in traffic. All are ingredients to me about to annoy myself. I started singing along to the music in weird voices and changing the lyrics to what I was seeing around me. 30 minutes later, I wanted to kick myself out of the car and not talk to myself for a week... because that's what I would usually do if I was riding with someone who was annoying me.

Typing all this out, I realize how crazy I sound. Oh well.

According to the countdown on my homepage of my cell phone... there are just 5 little ol' days til my 23rd birthday. So. Here is a list of things I want. Some things are realistic, some things are definitely not.

1. A bunny.
2. Drop Dead Fred on DVD.
3. A crab/seafood dinner.
4. A certificate stating that I can eat at Buffalo Wild Wings anytime I want for free.
5. Money.
6. That Shaun of the Dead tshirt I saw in a catalog a few months ago.
7. A trip to Graceland.
8. A trip to New York.
9. A puppy/dog.
10. Peonies.
11. A fedora hat.
12. The full series of Growing Pains on DVD. I was obsessed with that show. I cried on the series finale. Ugh. Emotional times
13. A pet duck.
14. A vespa.
15. A bike... a beach cruiser bike.
16. Tickets to the Neil Diamond concert. He's coming here in July! (i think it's July, it might be August).

I think that's it. It always seems like I want a lot but when I type it out, nothing comes to mind.

ugh.

I woke up first thing to a text from my sister, Lacey saying:

"Are you ready to be an aunt again?? :)"

I went crazy with excitement and then had the thought...

Wow, both my sisters are pregnant.... and I'm just a single girl living in the city who is trying to make her way through life.... we are just one camera crew short of being a Lifetime movie.

But since I am 100% gullible,  I didn't think of the date. It's April 1st. April Fool's Day. She's not pregnant.

IN OTHER NEWS: You know you watch too much Golden Girls when you have a dream you are sledding with them and living with them in a hotel... like I did last night.

the newest owner of a VW bus.

I, Kaleena, am proud to announce I am now an owner of a VW bus.

!!!

This is the part where I should probably tell you that it's just a toy VW bus.
But I want a real one so bad that I had to settle on this little toy one and it's probably the closest I will get to owning one.
I still wish my future husband and I can buy a real one and take a road trip across the United States for our honeymoon.
Awww.

if you watch this video, it will be the best minute and nineteen seconds of your day.

A great way to sum up this video is....
I was talking on the phone and this video had me laugh so hard I had to hang up.
It's a 1:19 worth watching.

I'm guilty of saying/doing 100% of the things in this video.
